Colin Stephens founded Design International in 1965. Under his leadership the company developed into a leading international consultancy with offices in North America, Asia and Europe. Since transferring ownership of his company, Colin continues to play an active role in the development consulting industry.
Colin brings a “global” perspective to the development of a project. Clients who seek leading-edge directions for projects seek him out not only for his vision but also his ability to take a plan from the conceptual stage to one of successful implementation. Colin’s strong commitment to research as well as his relationships with major players in the development community have produced ground breaking developments.

Külli Millar, Research Consultant
Designing with market knowledge is the key to successful development. Combining informed research and design instinct creates award winning, creative and profitable developments.
Külli has firsthand experience conducting research for Design International in more than 50 cities across North America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe for leading developers, shopping centres, retailers and financial investors. Her extensive research background includes more than 30 years’ experience conducting consumer research, feasibility studies, and concept development studies for a wide range of retail, entertainment and mixed-use projects.
