The design for this experience centre located next to the Bogota international airport embraces its context by introducing themes of aviation, connection, unity, and community. Fluid, angular forms, were used to emulate a sense of motion and flight.
SCOPE
The Nuestro Bogotá project—more than just a shopping centre—is conceptualized as an experience hub near Bogotá’s international airport. The masterplan embraces aviation, connection, unity, and community themes. It includes fluid and angular architecture to evoke motion and flight, alongside 23 commissioned urban art pieces. A real-size DC‑3 aircraft anchors a new dining venue called “The Hanger.”
SOLUTIONS
To transform Nuestro Bogotá into a vibrant experiential destination, the design focused on merging retail, gastronomy, and community programming into a unified space. The architectural concept draws inspiration from aviation, using fluid and angular forms to convey motion and flight. A strong cultural layer was added through the integration of 23 urban artworks, reinforcing the project's identity and community engagement. A key feature is “The Hanger,” a full-scale DC‑3 aircraft repurposed as a dynamic culinary destination, offering visitors a one-of-a-kind experience.

Planning and Design of a new gastronomic area in a mix use development. The restaurants and stores where placed around beautiful trees and we used the organic design and shapes to create the covers of the seating that are completely integrated to the garden and public spaces.
