Planning and design of a mixed-use transit hub in a prime, strategic location in the heart of Santo Domingo. Positioned on a challenging triangular site and bordered by major, congested arterial roads, the development establishes the epicentre of a new multimodal transit junction.

SCOPE

The program integrates cable cars, a central bus station, a future monorail connection, three levels of retail, and a rooftop town center. The project coordinates transportation infrastructure with commercial and public components within a highly constrained footprint.

SOLUTIONS

This project embodies the essence of mobility by organizing complex transit systems and retail functions into a clear, cohesive architectural expression. Strategic circulation planning streamlines passenger flow across multiple levels, while disciplined and expressive massing establishes the development as a recognizable civic landmark and gateway destination.
